Mi Max Specs and Features

This is powered by the same chipset that powers Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 - Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 which has an hexacore CPU and Adreno 510 GPU. This combination is great - the performance has been impressive on Redmi Note 3.

Other display features include Sunlight Display, Night Display, Reading mode and Color temperature adjustment.

To power up this massive display and all those pixels there is a massive 4850mAh battery on board. According to Xiaomi, this can last 14 hours on average. Like many other Mi devices, this too come with a Fingerprint sensor at the back. It will be available to purchase in Gold and Silver colors in India.

It runs on Android 6 Marshmallow with the latest MIUI 8 on top.

In the camera department, Mi Max features a 16MP rear camera with PDAF support, an F2.0 aperture 5 element lens and a 5MP front camera with F2.0 aperture, 85 degree wide angle lens. The main camera on the back supports 720P slowmotion video at 120fps. 4K recording is not supported.

Mi Max comes with two sim slots - One Micro sim and the other Nano sim slot. Nano sim tray doubles as the sdcard slot - i.e. hybrid. When two SIM cards are used simultaneously, the primary SIM can support 4G calls and data while the secondary SIM can support 3G calls only.
