Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 MSM8996 is currently the flagship mobile processor out there, powering Flagship smartphones by almost all manufacturers. Snapdragon 823 is a slightly more powerful variant of the 820. You can read about the difference between these here. 


Snapdragon 820 comes with Quad-core custom 64-bit Qualcomm® Kryo™ cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.2 GHz. It features the latest and the fastest Qualcomm® Adreno™ 530 GPU for graphics intensive tasks and gaming. Up to 25MP cameras and supported. It can record and play 4K videos with ease.

One major smartphone missing from the above list is the Samsung Galaxy S7. This is because, the S7 launched in India is based on Samsung's Exynos chipset. Snapdragon 820 powered Galaxy S7 is only available in the US.
