Samsung and Amazon India social media channels are teasing the launch of new Android smartphone on July 12 with #BringItOn hashtag. Samsung India has already announced Galaxy J2 2016 edition and Galaxy J Max phablet earlier.  Most probably the phone Amazon.in is teasing is Galaxy J Max since it is not in stock anywhere online as of this writing. There is also a chance Samsung to launch Galaxy C5 or Galaxy C7 in India on July 12. Whichever phone this might be, it is going to be an Amazon Exclusive device and wont be available to purchase from anywhere else. Galaxy J Max is a phone. However i would prefer calling it a tablet since it comes with a 7 inch display. It is powered by 1.5Ghz Quadcore processr and comes with 1.5GB of ram. There is a 4000mAh battery to power up things. So i grabbed a Google Nexus 5X 16GB recently from eBay for cheap to test out the upcoming major Android release - Android N. If you have 5X, 6P or Nexus 6, you can enroll to Android N Beta program ( check here ) and you will get an OTA update in a few minutes. This OTA update is around 1GB. Performance since updating to Android N has been normal. It doesn't feel like using a Beta version at all. Almost all features i use works without any issues. I didn't experience any severe force close issues or hanging or reboots. Sometimes Settings app crashes - to be expected in Beta test build.  Some apps in the Play Store can't be installed as they don't yet support Android N. OnePlus has launched their latest Android flagship smartphone in India at a price of Rs 27,999 . For that price, you are getting the fastest processor currently available - Snapdragon 820, and comes with 6GB of ram. It comes with Android 6 Marshmallow based Oxygen OS which is a close to Stock Android version.
