Android O Beta Program is now Available for Nexus 5X, 6P and Pixel devices
Android O is Google's latest iteration of their hugely popular mobile operating system. It has been available for a while via an Alpha build. Now Google has announced a Beta program, which allows existing Android 7 Nougat users on Nexus 5X, 6P and Google Pixel phone to join and get Android O Beta build as an OTA update.
Even though this is a Beta version, it is stable enough to use as a daily driver. However, if you don't want to take any risks at all, you better wait for the original full version launch later this year.
Enroll for the latest Android Beta program from here. You can alternately download and flash system images from Google developers page here. These new versions are also available for Pixel C tablet and Nexus player.
The Android Beta Program gives you an opportunity to try out pre-release versions of Android and provide feedback. Devices that you opt in to the program will receive an over-the-air (OTA) update to the latest beta version of Android O. The updates that you’ll receive as a part of this program are pre-release versions, and may contain errors and defects that can affect normal functioning of your device
