Samsung launches Galaxy C9 Pro in India with 6GB RAM

Samsung has launched Galaxy C9 Pro in India at a price of Rs 36,900 MRP. This is the first Android phone from Samsung to feature 6GB of ram. Even the current flagship Galaxy S7 and the exploding Note 7 came with 4GB ram.

Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro will be available to pre-order in India starting Jan 27 online on Flipkart / Amazon.in / Snapdeal.

Galaxy C9 Pro Specs and Features

It has a massive 6 inch 1080P Full HD display which like many other Samsung phones is a Super AMOLED one. C9 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 Octacore processor instead of Samsung's own Exynos Chipsets seen in other smartphones launched in India.

In the camera department, Galaxy C9 Pro comes with a 16MP sensor on the rear and the front as well. Both have an F1.9 aperture lens which should give good overall results. 4K recording at 30fps is supported.

Galaxy C9 Pro comes with 64GB internal storage which can be expanded with an Sdcard slot that supports up to 256GB. 4G LTE is supported.

Like many other phones, this too ships with a Fingerprint sensor. Other sensors include Gyro Sensor, Accelerometer, Geomagnetic Sensor, Proximity Sensor and RGB Light Sensor.

Galaxy C9 Pro will come with older Android 6 Marshmallow with Touchwiz UI on top. Since this is 30K devices, this should get an update to Android 7 Nougat in future.

The battery on board is a 4000mAh one with Fast Charging supported. It has a USB Type C port and comes with a headphone jack. NFC is also supported.
